Now as much as I would LOVE to take credit for this adorable yet
incredibly simple DIY project, I cannot. The idea came from this blog, and I knew
immediately I needed to re-create one of my own. I am so fortunate to have a
Hobby Lobby only 3 minutes from our apartment. It's seriously a blessing and a
curse at the same time:)
Anyways, I headed to Hobby Lobby and picked up The
Archives brand acrylic photo box frame in an 8.5x11. It was 4.99 but with a 40%
coupon it was less than $3. Next I headed over to their scrapbook paper
section. They have so many adorable different patterns, but when I saw this
bold black and white stripes print, I knew I had to have it. I am really into
black and white lately, there is just something I love about a good b&w
stripe.
The paper was $0.59 and with the frame being under $3, the entire
project was so ridiculously inexpensive. I got home and trimmed down the
paper to fit my frame. I removed the backing from the frame, slipped my
scrapbook paper in and voila! An adorable new tray to compliment our high gloss
white end table from Ikea.
Just to recap, you will need:
-The Archives brand box frame in 8.5x11 - $4.99 (use a coupon)
-Scrapbook paper of your choice, trimmed down to fit the frame - $0.59
-Scissors
Guys, it's seriously THAT easy!
It will be one of those projects that you'll think to yourself, how come
I didn't think of that?!
Happy tray making, enjoy your weekend!

I love this! And they would make GREAT gifts!!!! Ugh just annoys me that we don't have a Hobby Lobby in our area! Just Michaels and AC Moore!
Thank you! They would definitely make great gifts, that is a great idea! I am sorry that you don't have a Hobby Lobby, I completely understand your frustration! Michael's might have it too though, it's worth checking out :)
