This past weekend the hubby and I did something we shouldn't have done; look at puppies. We aren't in the right place financially to get our own, but I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to have that day come. Growing up we never had any dogs, so when we are able to get one, it will have been a very long and well deserved wait!
We went to the local animal shelter on Sunday and spent a good hour with this adorable pit bull mix. She's only a few months old and was shaking so badly when we first showed up. It made me so sad to see her so scared, but after she warmed up to us, she completely stole our hearts.
And on Saturday we had gone to our local pet store and played with the cutest miniature golden doodle, who was lots of fun! We could have stayed there all night, but sadly, we had to give him back. He was like a little fluffy teddy bear and I just love how hyper he is in this video that the hubs took, makes me miss him lots!
Even though we sadly weren't able to take either one of these adorable puppies home, it was so fun to be able to play with them and get our puppy fix. I know that when the time is right, it'll happen. Am I the only one is who is really excited about getting a dog one day? I seriously can't wait!

Awe that pit bull mix is adorable! If I can recommend one thing about dogs it would be to rescue, rescue, rescue! They are much more affordable and you can still get puppies through rescues if that's what you want. My pup was 3 months old when I got her from the rescue =) You can also look for specific breed rescues if you're really interested in owning a specific breed. =)
Wish I could save them all!
i love petss but i dont want to restricted them inside a boundary..
