DIY: Anthropologie's Zinc Letters

I am excited to share this DIY project with you today! I found this knock off project of Anthropologie's Zinc Letters on Pinterest (duh, right?) but I need to give credit to 436living.com who first did this project on her blog! Everyone loves Anthropologie's Zinc letters but the price is hard to get over at $18 each. Every time I work, see these letters and wish that they were mine. Well, I am so glad that I didn't buy them, because not only did I save money but I have the reward of putting something up in our apartment that I made myself!

This was such an easy project to complete, all you need are paper mache letters from Hobby Lobby (or any other craft store) for $2.47 each, and a can of Rust-oleum spray paint in metallic silver from Walmart for $5.99. I loved the look of "E-A-T" so I decided to replicate that myself. I'm waiting to hang them on the wall until I get some double sided tape.

So there you have it! Super easy and modern art for your kitchen or any room of your choice. I love all things typography along with the fact that these letters are the first thing you see when you walk into our kitchen.  Hope you enjoyed!

Thanks Mary! It was so fun and so easy to make, you should totally make some for your house! I thought it would be cute to do "xoxo" too and put them in our bedroom! Maybe next time :)
